Just a short and sweet post to share these coasters I made for a dear friend this holiday season. They’re charm pack friendly, and no binding required. If you use a layer cake instead of charm packs, they can be hot pads.
My friend Monica from It’s Just Sewing has this fun YouTube video of the tutorial – please check it out, her videos are seriously fantastic! Monica also does long arm quilting (i’ve had a couple quilts done by her!) and has other fantastic videos if you’re looking for a gift ideas. Thanks for sharing the tutorial Monica!!
It’s a fun no-binding coaster where you flip it inside out. It makes a super cute and cushion-y coaster.
The fabrics I used are Petit Fleur 2015 by Lecien Fabrics.
My favorite are the red color colorway. So beautiful!
It’s a great way to use charm packs, and makes a lovely gift. Stack them and then tie with some twine, and voila! So pretty.
Hope you’re all having a happy holiday!
Wonderful! I invite you to the candy:

what a good idea and like the no binding on these. Just to say what a good buy 75 fat quarters book was, sometimes buying on line can be a disappointment but thrilled with this book.
Thank you! So happy you enjoyed the book, too!
Very easy to follow and cute at that! Thanks.
