QAYG Quilt Along – End of Week 2

Welcome! Today marks the end of Week 2 for my Quilt As-You-Go Quilt Along! As mentioned in my previous post, the goal for week 2 was to have an
additional 5 blocks quilted. If you’re on track, congratulations! You
should now have at least 10 QAYG blocks total which means your quilt
is HALF WAY done! How fun is that?!

Goal: Today (Monday, October 27th) marks the start of Week 3 for my
QAYG Quilt Along. The goal is to complete an additional 5 blocks within
the next 7 days  (by Sunday, November 2nd).
I will be checking in on social media to see people’s progress, and will do a follow up blog post this weekend.

If you’re seeing this for the first time, you can find out details about my QAYG Quilt Along from my Introduction and kickoff post to help get you started. Below is my book, available online or your local bookshop/quilt shop. πŸ™‚

This quilt along is a great way for us to quilt together as a community and share our progress and work. Thank you for being a part of my first quilt along, whether you’re actively making the project or following along to see what everyone makes! Check out my Facebook and Instagram for live updates and pictures on people’s progress (hashtag #QuiltAsYouGoMadeModern or tag me)!

That being said I’d like to share a few photos I snagged on Instagram of the #QuiltAsYouGoMadeModern Quilt Along! Thank you lovely ladies for letting me share your beautiful work! (If I’ve forgotten to ask your permission to display your photo and you’d like it taken down, just send me a message and let me know).

It really has been a blast seeing everyone’s progress. I can’t wait to see these quilts finished! Good luck on Week 3 – happy Quilting as-you go!!

As always, feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions. πŸ™‚

I'm so sad, I ordered your book on Amazon and it is on back order. I guess I will not be able to participate in the quilt along. πŸ™ And I had my material all picked out. Lovely fabrics chosen by participants. Debbie

Dang! I just found your blog and would have loved to do the QAYG QAL. Are you going to have another one? I really want to try this technique.
