Just wanted to share this sweet little quilt that I made for my aunt’s baby girl, Sabine, in the Philippines. She is due any day now. xoxo
I used the Hello Petal collection by Aneela Hoey and did a simple patchwork quilt. I got the kit from my local quilt shop, The Quilting Loft, which you can find online here.
The only difference is I added the white star (which unfortunately kind of disappears in the quilt). I should have placed it against some darker charm squares. Oh well, it’s still adorable and I don’t think that Sabine will notice. 😉
I got brave and did some free motion quilting with some simple loopy-loops.
The backing fabric is too cute for words. It’s called Let’s Play by Sarah Jane Studios.
