Vintage sewing machine

I snagged this sweet vintage sewing machine for free at a neighborhood yard sale. Apparently no one wanted this beauty so at the end of the yard sale they put up a “free” sign trying to rid of it. And along I came, perfect timing, and a happy camper 8-[) The machine still works too.

If anyone knows anything about this machine, please let me know!! I don’t even know what year it is…looks like it could be from the 70’s?

It came on this handy little table where the machine can flip under and be hidden away.

I hope to clean it up soon so i can admire it even more.

I know nothing about the machine except that I have an ENTIRE box of attachments for it! I bought a wooden tool box at a yard sale filled with stuff. I had no idea what was in the depths of the box. I found a ruffle foot that I can use on my machine, lots of junk, a box of Morse attachments and a silver button hook. Let me know if you would like the box of attachments!

I have one! It worked great for awhile, but now it won't run. I think the motor needs adjusting. They weigh a ton, don't they?!? I'm thinking of taking mine to the sewing center guy to see if he can fix it, but I just got a "new" 1951 Singer, so that'll probably wait awhile.

I have this one! But mine's in a case rather than a table. Not my idea of portable anyway given the weight. It's such a beautiful machine though and Morse did make a number of very attractive models with that retro 1950's styling. In fact, I just picked up a gorgeous blue and cream Morse last night! There are online groups for people who appreciate the old Morse machines if you're interested.
